How can we as Lutheran Christians become knowledgeable and work toward a just world where all are cared for as beloved children of God?  Hear from the the Lutheran Office for Public Policy in Wisconsin, Greater Milwaukee Synod World Hunger volunteers, and a panel with Bishop Paul Erickson, Mary Campbell, JD, and Pastor Richard Suero during this time when our country is particularly divided.

• 6:45-7:45 pm - Panel discussion on immigration and refugees with Bishop Paul Erickson, Mary Campbell,  
        AMMPARO Program Director and law attorney, and Pastor Richard Suero of Faith/Santa Fe Lutheran Church    
•      7:30-8:30 pm - Advocacy training: we’ll discuss how you can advocate and build community via advocacy, and share
       practical tips about contacting local, state, and federal representatives to make your voice heard. You’ll be able to
       take these new skills back to your congregations and use them to advocate for faithful solutions to the challenges
       facing our country.  LOPPW will present an advocacy manual, and Cindy Dobberke and Molly Riehle will share their
       experiences in advocacy work.
