The Office of First-Year Experience is now accepting applications for faculty and staff who are interested in serving as an evoLUtion Seminar Facilitator for fall 2013.
The evoLUtion Seminar is an 8- week experience where a faculty and/or staff facilitator work with approximately 20 first-year students and an upper-class student leader. The content is focused on students' academic and personal transition to college and centered around a project that will help students develop their critical thinking and information literacy skills as well as provide an opportunity to work with a group. All students and their facilitators will also complete the Lehigh University Ropes Course.
Training will be required of all selected evoLUtion Seminar facilitators. The selected facilitators will also be asked to read this years Summer Reading Selection (TBD) and a free copy will be provided.
Applicants will be notified of their status by April 2013.
Note: Supervisors must approve participation in the seminar experience. Please be sure to discuss your participation with your supervisor before completing the interest form.
