A Rose for Ramadan is an initiative to gather and distribute zakat funds locally. Zakat funds are used to purchase basic staples (rice, olive oil, canned goods, dates, meat). These are put together into "care packages" that are hand-delivered to local families in need. This year we are expecting to deliver care packages to approximately 300 families in the greater NJ area on Sunday, May 21st.

We will be assembling Rose for Ramadan boxes on Saturday, May 20th in Clifton, NJ and delivering them on Sunday, May 21st.

All volunteers must be over the age of 13, and drivers must be over 18 and have a valid drivers license.
