Requests for Support must be submitted by 12:30pm on the Friday before the Steering Committe meeting
The Steering Committee meeting is on the first Monday of the month, 5:30pm at 1500 NE Irving Street, Suite 585. Decisions regarding support are passed here. Please plan to send a representative to the meeting to present the request.
Groups are expected to mobilize their own members for the event and provide volunteers to help with mailings.

Announcement: Make an announcement, recruit for a specific action, and share your work.
Endorsement: Request that Portland Jobs with Justice approve the mission of the event and offer support
Hot List Request: Phone and mailing lists are available for our 200 most active members. Your organization is responsible for doing the mailing or making the calls. A maximum of 4 Hot List requests are approved per month
Full Mobilization or Phone Bank: Mailing and activation of the phone tree lists of more than a thousand members. You must provide some volunteers for mailing and defray mailing expenses when possible. A maximum of 1 Full Mobilization or Phone Bank requests approved per month.
Sponsorship: Request that Portland Job with Justice take a public stance as well as help with the planning and execution
Affiliation: Request that my group be approved as a coalition member
Strategic Planning: JwJ has extensive experience in planning campaigns and actions, including theater and the use of giant puppets.
Workers' Rights Board: The WRB is made up of about 70 community leaders who lend their moral support to workers and help resolve situations which threaten workers’ rights.
