Fund #PaidLeave4DC Picnic!
Thanks to all of you, the Universal Paid Leave Act was passed in December!! Woooooo!

Now, to make sure the law gets enacted, start up costs for IT/infrastructure for the insurance program MUST BE FUNDED in the FY18 DC Budget. Mayor Bowser's budget was introduced on April 4 and the start up costs have not yet been fully funded.

Join us for a picnic to get reconnected to each other and to the PFL Campaign.
We'll talk about where each Councilmember stands on funding PFL and what we can do to move those who need moving.

Who: YOU!
What: Fund #PaidLeave4DC Picnic
When: Sunday, April 23 | 2 - 4 PM
Where: Malcolm X (Meridian Hill) Park - specific location TBD, stay tuned!

We'll have some snacks and drinks and sheets to sit on. Please bring a vegetarian snack to share and if you want to sit in a chair, bring that, too!
