Halloween in the Catskills 2017 Vending Application

Vending Fee: $140-$165 (per weekend)

Vending Area: Vending is outdoors on the acreage of lawn which is adjacent to the main building of the Blackthorne Resort. This building houses the large dining room where festival attendees take their meals; beneath the dining room is a large pub which is a venue for performances by bands, as well as informal socializing during the festival.

Vendors should bring their own tents. Most vendors use 10x10 or 10x12 tents, but some have larger tents. There is no size limitation on tents, since there is plenty of space for set-up. Standard vending fee $140

Large Tent Option: The Blackthorne Resort will set up a 20 x 40 tent for vendors without their own tent, with spaces limited to 10x10 within the tent. The vending fee will be $165 for those using space in the large tent.

Vendors can drive right to their locations, although they should move vehicles to a parking lot after unloading.
We do not provide electricity. Alll spaces are outdoors. Placement is first-come, first-served.

Vending Hours: 4:00PM-7:00PM Friday, 10:00AM-6:00PM Sat, and 10:00AM-4:00PM Sunday. The vending site is secure overnight.

Room/Food Costs for Vendors: Blackthorne offers their plan C rooms to vendors for $130+tax per person for the weekend. These rooms are on site, but are very small, outdated rooms with older furniture. Meals and entertainment are included in the vendor pricing. We also have rooms at our sister property, the Weldon House for $100+tax per adult for the weekend.
Vendors are also welcome to reserve the standard rooms at $150+tax/person for the weekend.
Vendors must reserve rooms directly through the Blackthorne Resort at 518-634-2541.

NY Sales Tax: All vendors must have a NY State sales tax number.

Insurance: Vendors are responsible for their own insurance coverage.

Vendor Application Deadline: Applications will be accepted up to three weeks before the event with rolling acceptance and wait-list notifications beginning July 1st.
