2018-2019 McLain High School Application Packet
This application packet is meant to be completed by the STUDENT who is applying to McLain Community High School, not the parent or guardian. McLain is designated an Alternative Education Campus (AEC) by the Colorado Department of Education (CDE). This designation requires that a percentage of our students fall into at least one of the at-risk categories and helps us meet the needs of McLain students. Questions in this application help determine if a student qualifies in one or more of the AEC categories and if they are a good fit to join the McLain educational community.

McLain accepts new students each quarter on a first come first served basis until each program's capacity is met. Students wanting to be placed on the waiting list to attend McLain must complete and submit the online McLain Application. Once an application is received it will be reviewed by McLain staff. Students who are a good fit for a McLain program will be invited to attend a mandatory orientation meeting with their parent and/or guardian.
