To be considered for this honor, each nominee must submit a Nomination Application meeting the following criteria:• Graduate of Charles O’Dickerson High School.• Attended Trumansburg schools for more than two years.• Graduated from high school with a minimum of 10 years before being nominated.• Up to three recommendation letters supporting the nomination.• Application signed by the person making the nomination.• Documentation of nominee work history, professional/academic achievements, and/or service to the community (i.e., resume or other documents).
Criteria for consideration:• Degrees earned• Academic awards conferred• Academic potential realized• Service to support the academic success of others• Service to the community• Risk taking or advocacy on behalf of academic achievement and/or community service• Recommendations and/or testimony of teachers, staff, fellow graduates, colleagues, or others familiar with the nominee’s body of work• Career-related accomplishments or distinctions
More information:• All nomination materials must be postmarked or received by August 15 to be considered for fall induction into the Walk of Fame.• The Walk of Fame committee will induct two members on Friday, October 14th, 2016 as part of our Homecoming Celebration.• Alumni may nominate themselves for this honor.• All information for individuals nominated and not selected for induction in a given year will remain on file and will be reviewed each year. Nominees, or nominators, may update the information at any time.• Walk of Fame Inductees will be selected by a committee based on nomination materials and a research of records as part of the selection process.• Nominations may be submitted posthumously.
