  • Standard 1  Students will demonstrate competency in a variety of motor skills and movement patterns.

Students will:

- demonstrate the following ball skills:throwing, catching, dribbling,striking, kicking,and rolling.

--be able to take their skills from a practice situation into a live/ game situation.

  • Standard 2  Students will apply knowledge of concepts, principles, strategies, and tactics to movement and performance.

Students will:

--be able to identify correct form from incorrect form.

-be able to take their skills from a practice situation into a live/ game situation.

  • Standard 3  Students will demonstrate the knowledge and skills to achieve and maintain a health-enhancing level of physical activity and fitness.

Students will:

-use their ball skills in a variety of activities that will provide practice for those skills and also lead to improved fitness as well.

  • Standard 4  Students will exhibit responsible personal and social behavior that respects self and others.

Students will:

-play safely.

-demonstrate good sportsmanship.

-know, understand ,and follow all rules.

Students will be able to identify correct form verse incorrect form for the previously mentioned movement patterns .

  • Standard 3  Students will demonstrate the knowledge and skills to achieve and maintain a health-enhancing level of physical activity and fitness.

Students will use their skills in a variety of activities that promote skill practice and fitness improvement.

  • Standard 4  Students will exhibit responsible personal and social behavior that respects self and others.
