2017 Marching Storm Parent Involvement
Please indicate the area(s) you are interested being involved with the 2017 summer marching band season below. All positions marked with * indicate leadership positions that will meet with both the Director and the Parent Program Coordinator. Unmarked positions are simply volunteers that are needed to assist with events or activities. If you wish to serve as a Coordinator, you may also volunteer as a helper in a different area.

CHAPERONE COORDINATORS* [2 ADULTS] (plan details for all parades, lead all parent volunteers, share information, prepare fanny packs, wash chaperone shirts on a regular basis, communicate and coordinate with the director, manage health forms, communicate directly with students during some rehearsals, manage bus lists, attend all parades-in cooperation with the other chaperone coordinator)

PERFORMANCE PREVIEW COORDINATORS* [2 Adults] (Oversee all details of this event, communicate with Middle School and High School directors, assemble order forms, collect order forms, plan meal details, secure vendor commitment, work together with spirit wear coordinator, communicate to custodians for needs, coordinate with SR parade bands coordinator, brainstorm ways to increase funding during this event)

TRAILER DRIVER COORDINATORS* [2 adults] (lead all details involving our marching band trailer and the vehicle that we use to pull the trailer, address maintenance items, keep the trailer washed and clean, manage all carts and details inside the trailer)
