On April 25th, from 9am-3pm, Burnsville High School's Giving Garden invites students and community members to help us build a fence and start planting our vegetables.
Burnsville High School's Giving Garden was established so that students and community members can learn how to grown their own food while providing for families in the community who don't have food security.
This fall students worked to expand from a small bucket garden to a larger plot of permanent ground on the BHS campus. The goal is to donate 1,000 pounds of food to 360 Communities by the end of the 2015 planting season.
We are providing lunch for all volunteers who register early and stay the whole day.
You can also plant a Bucket Garden to take home! We will teach you how to start your own home bucket garden, provide you with a recycled bucket, and help you plant beans. While supplies last.
Our rain make up day will be May 9th, we will email you if we have to cancel on April 25th and provide you with more details for the 9th.
Please contact Bri Ostoff at firstname.lastname@example.org
