VP of Membership: Leadership in developing and implementing strategies to stay connected with current membership and educate on the value of membership. Contact with potential, new and expired members to promote the benefits of HDI on a monthly basis. Keep track of new, renewed and non-members in a database for use with local chapter membership drives. Introduces and welcomes new members at local chapter meetings.
VP of Special Events: Strategizes and plans the annual Summer Program events (Jun-July-Aug) and End of Year Awards Banquet (Dec). Acts as project manager to obtain buy-in from Officer Team on event agendas/themes, secure speakers/topics, speaker needs and logistics, AV requirements, handouts and refreshments, etc. as well as venue for these events. Coordinates with VP of Finance on budget needs and Sponsorship(s) for Events. Collaborates and coordinates with the rest of HDI Officer team on Event tasks and responsibilities within and outside of their traditional Officer role (program printing, name badges, registration table, raffles, etc.).
VP of Social Media: Responsible for the gathering, assessment and posting of industry related articles, HDI events, Tweets, blogs in a continual manner on HDI social channels (Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter. Responsible for active Tweets and photos during Chapter Events, and any post-event updates to HDI Nebraska Facebook pages.
