Leeward Library Online Course Reserves Purchase Request Form
The library will look for and purchase electronic versions of course readings upon request. Providing online copies of required readings to students is one method for making college more affordable.

To view examples, see the Spring 2017 Course Reserves List: http://guides.leeward.hawaii.edu/c.php?g=246796&p=1644498

E-book title availability and access model is publisher-driven. The library will purchase unlimited, concurrent access where available, but single-user access is standard for most publishers. When only single-user access is offered, the library will purchase several individual copies to increase availability and access. Due to publisher restrictions Online Course Reserves cannot guarantee that each student can access an e-book at the same time. Offering print copies for purchase through the bookstore is still necessary in most cases.

Note: Libraries are unable to purchase e-textbooks with campus-wide access. DO NOT submit textbook purchase requests here. To submit materials for our traditional Print Course Reserves, go to the library's website and click About Course Reserves: www.leeward.hawaii.edu/library
