11Parts of ItNo one really goes on Facebook anymore, but we definitely don't just go on our phones and block out the rest of the world. This article makes me seem like whoever wrote this is calling this generation of kids lazy. Yes, we use the internet, but we use it for help. We don't copy and paste. Yes if we're put into a group, it's much easier to just get in a group message and talk about it, not meet up somewhere. I would add that, that not all of it is because we're lazy.Fun, outdoorsy, non-stressful, laid back, NOHOMEWORKEVERYDAYFROMEVERYTEACHERBECAUSEICAN'THANDLETHATStressful, consuming, depressing, technological and boring.

11thParts of ItI dont think id add anything to it other than a lot of those things i dont really see in myself. A lot of kids only use certain social networking for family. For example us having Facebook, i personally use it to connect with people that are far from me. My family in different countries. Also i think adults have portrayed children in a type of way that they think they know all about us, when reality they don't know that some kids use those social networks to get the attention they don't get in the outside world. Put yourself in our schools, the world is changing. Don't criticize because i keep finding all these adults trying to criticize us children, teenagers, young adults. Not harder than it is, peaceful, communicative classes, less technology (no computers), clean. Interesting, boring, Not very eventful, no spirit, stressful.

11Parts of ItSantos was described as treating school as a "a giant check-off list". When in reality, not all students are that way, and even if they were, the same thing could be applied to teachers. I have a teacher that gives us multiple packets a week, with no less than thirty pages each packet. Not only is that a huge waste of paper, but we are her only class period, and there has not been a day where we did not enter the classroom, sit down, and copy last nights homework off the overhead. All period it is copying, and her talking, and then her getting upset when her students don't listen. She says it's what we're going to have to deal with in college. This isn't college, and it's not even AP. It's good to prepare us for college, but I'm sorry (not really sorry), that isn't teaching. That isn't shit. Teachers do treat school as a giant check-off list, providing us with an abundance of busy work and meaningless words.

This article is intended to reach every student as a whole. It does not address the students, like me, who can't access different forms of technology. This article mentions the efficiency of technology, but doesn't mention the problems with it. Technology is said to help us move forward, but the flaws tell me it's holding the future of education back.

I would add to the article that even though Santos's life is portrayed as very attached to technology, we should also see how Santos interacts with the world outside of technology. I would add how Santos interacts with his family and friends, and how his relationship with them is.

Most students are like Santos and some are not. According to the article Santos did his project but did not know nothing specifically about is topic, but most people that do presentations have of a specific subject most know what they are talking about, knowing information is a great part of that individuals grade.

I would add nothing to that. I am a lot different than santos because it seems like he is so addiucted to his phone and like he couldnt go minute without it. I can live without my phone and i can listen in class without my phone being a distraction although, i do believe that i learn more outside of school about things i will need to survive in the real world than i do at school about pre- calculus or big words i will never use in my modern day language.
