We will be running a 2 day workshop at the American University in Cairo on the 2nd and 3rd May 2012.

There are 2 subject choices - both will be covered over 2 full days:

<b>Creating or Improving an Online Presence </b>
Do you have a business, a cause or even an idea that you want to create awareness online for? Sign up below to get your idea out of your head and onto the web!

This workshop will focus on implementing an online presence, promoting it by using social networking and advertising, and monetising your site.

<b>Creating an Online Application</b>
Do you have an idea for an application, a Google+ Application, a mobile app, a Chrome extension or a Maps extension, but not quite sure how to implement it? Sign up below to get help implementing your idea!

This workshop will focus on helping you to build applications using online tools like Google+ APIs, AppEngine, Google Maps APIs, Chrome extensions and HTML5.

<b>Participants</b>
We are looking for two types of participants: those with ideas looking for guidance, and those with knowledge who are looking to help local people in their communities.

If you want to implement an idea, please choose Implementor below.

If you are technically knowledgeable, and you want to share and improve that knowledge with support from Google, please choose mentor below.

Please note that we will be running additional training for those signing up to become a mentor in the weeks leading up to the workshop.
