Request a quota uplift for your news-related Google Maps APIs project
For years, news media organizations have been using the Google Maps APIs to enhance their interactive reporting work. We’d like to continue supporting and growing these innovative journalistic uses of our maps with a new opportunity that grants quota uplifts to news media websites using the Google Maps APIs Standard Plan (https://goo.gl/2ANC6v).

If accepted, you will be granted quota uplifts up to 1 million requests per day to the APIs you intend to use for upcoming projects. If your site needs higher usage limits, technical support, reporting tools, SLAs — or if you plan to use our maps behind a login / paywall — contact our sales team to learn more about the Premium Plan (https://goo.gl/2ANC6v).

To apply for this program, please provide all the information requested below (English-only, please). We will only process applications that are complete. Important: Before applying, you must (1) have billing disabled for your project; otherwise, you will be charged; (2) enable the Maps APIs you plan to use (3) provide a project ID.

Google's use of your information in this form is governed by our privacy policy (http://www.google.com/privacy.html). We will use the information to evaluate your request and contact you if you’re accepted. We may also reach out to you for feedback as we periodically evaluate the program.
