------ TECH TALK & INTERVIEW WORKSHOP ------

Tech Talk - Building Software at Google Scale:
We will give an overview of the software development experience and philosophy at Google. Given the impressive size of Google's codebase in any dimension (e.g., 2 billion lines of code), Google employees have built a complete suite of tools to support efficient software development for more than 20k engineers working in dozens of offices around the globe. We will highlight some of these tools, describe how the source, build, and test infrastructure is integrated into one cohesive workflow, and how this workflow enables developers to build high-quality software at Google scale.

Interview Workshop:
The tech talk will be followed by an interview workshop where we'll talk about how to prepare for a technical interview and demo a sample question and possible solutions.

We'll teach you how to play Launch & Iterate, a team cooperative, Google-inspired card game that we've built from scratch (http://goo.gl/tgcKO0). You'll get the chance to play the game in teams of 3-4, then take home your own copy. Space is limited so we will notify everyone on 26th October.
