Java8 on App Engine Standard (Alpha)
The Java8 App Engine Standard runtime is under development and will benefit from select customers providing us feedback. At this time, running production apps on the Java8 runtime is highly discouraged.
You can fill this form to request access to the Java8 runtime.

We are limiting Alpha access to 100 requests per second per application version. Please, do not run performance benchmarks yet or production workload as the pool of DataCenters used for the Alpha program is not the default pool.

The app-id(s) that needs to be whitelisted for testing out the Java8 runtime. If you have just created a new Cloud Project, make sure you enable the App Engine section, or we will not be able to whitelist it. You can use Services/Versions to do traffic splitting A/B testing between Java7 and Java8 versions.
