Dr. Brenda White Wright Emerging Leaders Academy

2013-2014 Nomination Form

About Dr. Brenda White Wright Emerging Leaders Academy

The Mission of the Dr. Brenda White Wright Emerging Leaders Academy is: To identify, encourage and equip emerging student leaders with the skills, knowledge and experience to effectively lead at ETSU and beyond. Nominees must currently be full-time undergraduate students in “good standing” at ETSU and have an interest in developing leadership skills. Please help us by only nominating students who have not been in a leadership role on campus but have the potential to be leaders. Current involvement in a student organization or campus activities is not required. Preference will be given to first and second year students with the hope that participants will have an opportunity to apply the leadership skills gained from the Academy on campus in the coming years. More Information about the Dr. Brenda White Wright Emerging Leaders Academy is provided on the next page. This program requires attendance at an overnight, weekend long “Advance” and weekly meetings throughout the semester. The weekly meetings will be held each Monday from 5:00 to 7:00pm, February through April. The “Advance” and weekly meetings are important for success in this program and therefore must be made a priority. All aspects of the program are provided at no charge to the student.
