Please gather all the documents given under the pre-requisities before filling out the application. Most of the form reflects content that will be uploaded onto our website, therefore please follow instructions carefully.

We will get in touch with you once we receive your submitted form. Please note that the validity of the listing with GiveIndia, once completed, is until 31st October 2015 upon which the listing has to be renewed. The renewal is conditional upon your organisation being able to raise a minimum of Rs. 100000 across any number of iGive pages during the year.

APPLICATION FORM
Pre-requisites for applying for Tier II
Please note that if the below requirements are not fulfilled, GiveIndia will not be able to allow your NGO to be listed on the Tier II platform.

1. Your organisation works in the area of:
• Education AND/OR
• Medical relief AND/OR
• Relief of poor AND/OR
• Preservation of environment
as defined by or understood in the Income Tax Act, 1961. GiveIndia’s own mandate is limited to only these areas, and hence if your organisation doesn’t work in these areas, GiveIndia would not be able to channel any funds to you.

2. Your organisation is registered as a Trust /Society /Sec. 8 (earlier Sec 25) Company.

3. Your organisation has been in existence for a minimum of 1 year from date of registration.

4. Your organisation is registered under Sec.12A of the Income Tax Act and it remains currently valid.

5. A physically verifiable address proof exists for correspondence address for your organisation.

6. Your organisation has filed its IT returns for the Assessment Year 2015-16.

7. Signed audited statements for your organisation are available: Balance Sheet, Income & Expenditure statement and the statutory Auditor's Report for financial year 2014-15.

8. Your organisation possesses a valid bank account.

9. Your organisation has a Governing Board, by whatever name called. (*Required only if NGO is interested in foreign donations).

10. The Board ensures your organization’s compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

11. Your organisation is willing to undertake that all donations received from or through GiveIndia will be used solely for education, medical relief, preservation of environment or relief of poor, as defined in the Income Tax Act, 1961.

12. Your organisation will submit an iGive Reimbursement Report(s) showing details of funds being used for the above purposes (Point 11) only, in order to raise funds.

13. Two donor references: 1 reference from an Individual Donor (preferably) will be provided.

14. Your organisation will submit a Fund Utilization Certificate, certified by a chartered accountant, for funds received through GiveIndia, by 30th June, 2016.

*Education is defined as education in a formal school or college registered with the Govt only, and excludes vocational training, coaching in arts or sport, etc. Medical relief is defined as medical treatment and medicines only, and excludes awareness, prevention, insurance and other activities. Preservation of the environment is defined as watershed work, conservation of forests, tree plantation and protection of wild life only, and excludes any other understanding of preservation...
**'Relief of the poor' encompasses a wide range of objects for the welfare of the economically and socially disadvantaged or needy. It will, therefore, include within its ambit purposes such as relief to destitute, orphans or the handicapped, disadvantaged women or children, small and marginal farmers, indigent artisans or senior citizens in need of aid.

5.0 UNDERTAKING

iGive Reimbursement Report
Your organisation must submit an iGive reimbursement report prior to raising funds on GiveIndia. Please see the section 'India Giving Challenge Funds Utilisation for NGOs ' on http://www.giveindia.org/t-india-giving-challenge-faqs.aspx to understand what needs to be sent and how.
IMPORTANT NOTE
1. This listing is valid only for a period of one renewal cycle. Our renewal cycle is November to October.
2. GiveIndia will retain the right to reject any NGO application that does not conform to GiveIndia Listing Requirements.
3. NGOs with FCRA can raise funds from foreigners. However these donors will not receive Tax Exemptions in their country for any donations.
