What is Git Merge?
Git Merge is the Git community conference, focused on contributors, source control teams, and end-users of the best open source version control system. Hosted by GitHub.
By participating in Git Merge, you are showing your commitment to the community of users and developers of a tool that has become an integral part of all of our development workflows.
Purpose
• Advancing the Git community above all else.
• Advocating for the adoption of Git over other source control management solutions.
• Engaging with companies with large and invested interests in Git.
• Strengthening relationships with Software Freedom Conservatory and Linux Foundation.
Audience
350 Git end-users and system administrators responsible for source control infrastructure. Organizations that are investing heavily in social control workflows, professional users thinking about Git differently, senior engineers, technical operations, engineering leads, and other senior technical leaders primarily.
There is only one track for this event, so your presentation will be given to the entire audience.
Fine Print:
- Submitting a talk does not guarantee acceptance
- We are more likely to accept talks that are not framed as product or sales pitches
