Transportation Information:
1. Parents/guardians will need to identify one pick-up location and one drop-off location for the entire school year. If the alternate site arrangements vary from day to day, it will become the parent’s responsibility to provide transportation on those alternate days.
2. There will be no bus passes provided for any reason i.e. a friend is riding home with your child. This reduces end of day confusion for all district staff.
3. GHAPS buses do not travel down every road, cul-de-sac, dead-end streets, and private roads/drives, or into every subdivision.
4. Bus route information for Y5-4th grade students will be mailed home approximately 1 to 2 weeks before the start of the year. 5th-12th grade bus information will be available on the parent view of synergy approximately 1 to 2 weeks before the start of the year.
5. It is the responsibility of the parent/guardian to see that a child gets safely to and form the bus stop. Parents of younger students are encouraged to be at the bus stop to receive their student upon drop off. The bus will drop off students at the designated bus stop locations and will continue on to the next bus stop. The bus driver will not wait for parents to receive their children at bus stops.
