Carnival of Cultures Questionnaire
Thanks to all of you for coming and helping your students prepare for the Carnival of Cultures. We hope you enjoyed the performance. We realize that the new venue lead to some complications for some people in finding the location and arriving on time. We are sorry for that inconvenience. We are looking forward to being able to have the event on site next year and hope that that will alleviate many issues.

There are many goals that we are aiming for with the Carnival of Cultures. They include:

1. Students gain experience singing, dancing and performing for an audience, and planning the event.

2. Students learn about world cultures through the performing arts.

3. Students get a chance to see what other grades are learning.

4.  Parents get a chance to see and hear what students are learning.

5. The larger community has a chance to experience what our students are doing and the school has a chance for publicity (for example the recent Pioneer Press article featuring pictures from the event).

6. Many social studies standards regarding comparative cultural studies are met in part through the event.

We would like to improve the experience of Carnival of Cultures and are seeking community input from parents, students and staff. Please provide your feedback to the following questions and ideas that are applicable to your situation.
