Hello everyone! This year, STEAM Nation will take place on Saturday, October 10th from 8AM-12PM. We will leave campus around 7AM, and hopefully arrive back at campus around 1PM.

STEAM Nation is an annual outreach event at West LA College, designed to give the Los Angeles community an opportunity to come together, to inspire children, to see themselves as a part of this national movement and to ignite a passion in the future creators of the new technology.

Lunch and snacks will be provided.

These are the experiments we will be doing:
1. Cabbage juice pH indicator
2. Money that doesn't burn (using alcohol)
3. Cold pack: weak acid and NaHCO3
4. Take home your own BORAX slime
5. Milk and soap color swirls

The event is a lot of fun so sign up if you are interested!
