Energy Innovation Competition Application 2015 - 2016
The Florida Solar Energy Center's Energy Innovation competition was created to provide full scale solar-electric (photovoltaic) design experience to middle school and high school students. Participating schools will be provided with a photovoltaic array * to utilize to power the team designs at the EnergyWhiz Olympics. The student competition includes designing and building a working model of a real-world solar application, as well as developing the supporting materials of their choice (i.e. marketing brochure, advertisement, technical document, web page, video documentary, etc.). The panels may also be used for classroom activities during the school year.
