SELF-DEFENSE FOR RUNNERS
How safe are you when you are running? Do you run alone? Are you prepared to thwart an attacker?
FRTR and LaFox Martial Arts have set up a 2-hour hands-on workshop to introduce runners to safety awareness and empower runners to be able to defend themselves. Learn about what to recognize as a potential threat and how to respond. Practice self-defense maneuvers. If you are attacked, you may only have 1 second to respond. What you do in that 1 second is critical.
After we learn some moves, we will enjoy a light snack.
Ages: 13 up
(no jewelry, wear comfortable clothing)
