Summer - 2014
Oceana is looking for interns to work on our National Climate & Energy Campaign. The focus of the campaign is to stop the expansion of dangerous offshore drilling and promote clean energy alternatives like offshore wind power. Interns will get first hand campaign experience and learn how to engage the community and advocate on behalf of the oceans and clean energy. Oceana is looking for individuals to commit 8-10 hours per week on assignments. Interns will have the opportunity to work in a variety of different roles based on their interests. These include but are not limited to working with the media, coalition building, lobbying officials, planning events, and recruiting volunteers. This opportunity is unpaid, but interns will exit with valuable skills, a letter of recommendation from Oceana as well as the potential to earn college course credit. Please fill out the form below if you are interested.
