Food Gatherers Food Drive Registration Form
Thank you for coordinating a food drive!  

Please use this form to register your food drive! You will receive a confirmation page at the end of the process indicating that we have received your information; we will only call or email you if you have asked specific questions.

A few notes about food drives:

Please ensure that all food collected is non-perishable, usable, boxed, canned or otherwise packaged commercially - we cannot distribute damaged cans, open packages, or expired products. For information on how to donate whole produce and other perishable food items please email info@foodgatherers.org.  
 
Food donations can be dropped off at Food Gatherers (1 Carrot Way, Ann Arbor, 48105), Monday - Friday from 9:00 am - 4:45 pm. Drop-off is contactless! For food drives that are too large to deliver, we can schedule a pick-up during the week. Please note our truck schedule is very full so we are only able to do this for larger collections.

In addition to collecting food please consider collecting funds to fight hunger where we live. Donations can be made by cash or check (payable to Food Gatherers) and/or you can set up your own fundraising page at foodgatherers.org/fundraise to collect donations by credit card. How will you be gathering your food?
Recommendations include: clean containers ("copy paper box" sized boxes work perfectly) or reusable paper or plastic shopping bags.  

Food Gatherers offers the following options:

Food box or barrel: subject to availability these are about the size of a large trash can. The  empty barrels can usually fit sideways on the back seat of a small SUV. The boxes fold (when empty) and can fit in a compact car. You can pick up boxes or barrels from our warehouse on Carrot Way, Monday - Friday, between 9:00 a.m. and 4:45 p.m.; please call or email (734-761-2796 or info@foodgatherers.org) so we can have your box or barrel ready.

GIANT box (approx 4ft cube): these are available for large food drives (hold up to 1,000 pounds of canned goods) and require delivery with a liftgate and pallet jack, and access to a large entry with a hard floor at your location. If you indicate you want a box of this size we will call you to arrange delivery.

If your food collection is 100 pounds+ or you have special circumstances please let us know and we will arrange a pick-up.
