SPROUT Field Trip Volunteer Application
Thank you for your interest in volunteering with the Washington Youth Garden's hands-on science and nutrition field trip program that runs from April through October.

Volunteers and interns have the opportunity to:
• Build garden knowledge
• Learn new teaching and group management techniques
• Work directly with youth of all ages in a beautiful outdoor setting

Field trip responsibilities include:
• Logistical support with set-up and breakdown
• Keeping time and providing one-on-one attention
• Direct garden teaching, as you feel ready

Volunteering with the SPROUT program requires weekday availability during trips (Wed-Friday). We will work with you to find a regular 3-hour time slot to volunteer every week.
