Present your research at the 4th Annual GPSA University-wide Research Day!
The Graduate and Professional Student Association (GPSA), Division of Research, and Graduate College invite graduate and medical students engaged in various scholarly and research projects across the University to participate and take advantage of the opportunity to showcase their work to colleagues, peers, and others.
Research Day activities will include poster presentations, awards, prizes, lunch and a judged research competition for a chance to get some feedback on ongoing research. Posters showcased at the event will be reviewed by a panel of invited judges, and prizes will be awarded to top presenters.
Deadline for abstract submission is: Friday, March 1st, 2013 by 5pm*
*Due to limited space and accommodations, abstracts will NOT be accepted after this deadline.
Authors will be notified of acceptance by: March 18th, 2013
If your abstract is selected, you will be required to take additional action to confirm your attendance and poster presentation.
Research Day will be held Friday, April 12th, 2013 from 8:30am – 3:30pm
Abstract submissions must describe original research (theory, model, analytical, quantitative or qualitative), in progress or completed, in addition to market research or review. The primary author MUST be a current FAU graduate or medical student. Content may include portions of prior abstracts and/or manuscripts submitted or presented elsewhere. Abstracts will be rated on overall quality, impact of abstract’s content, and logical flow.

Keep in mind that selected abstract submissions will be published in the format in which they are received, so please proofread your work and ensure that any special symbols are viewed appropriately. The first 115 complete and accurate submissions will be considered for presentation. See website for abstract guidelines.
