BARCC Walk for Change
Emerson STANDS for non-violence and social justice and will be walking in the BARCC Walk for Change!

All Emerson graduate and undergraduate students, staff, and faculty are welcome to register! Violence Prevention and Response will cover the registration fee for all Emerson students and employees. Additional friends, family, and pets can be registered at www.barcc.org

DIRECTIONS & PARKING: DCR’s Artesani Park is located at 1255 Soldiers Field Road in Brighton.Continuous shuttle service, including an ADA bus, will be provided from MBTA Central Square T Station (Red Line). Free parking, courtesy of Athena Health, will be available at 321 Arsenal Street in Watertown. Continuous shuttles will be provided. Another free shuttle will leave Emerson (in front of Einstein Bagels) at 9:30am, and return to Emerson around 12pm.

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS:
8:30 a.m. Registration Opens & Festivities Begin
9:30 a.m. Walk Kick-Off Begins
10:00 a.m. Walk Begins (2.6 mile loop along the Charles River)
11:00 a.m. Post-Event Celebration

FOOD, WATER & RESTROOMS available at Artesani Park and the 1.25 mile mark.
WHAT TO WEAR: It will be mid-April in New England, so be sure to dress in layers. It'll be cooler in the morning but then warm and sunny as you Walk and hang out afterwards for the post-event celebration. You should also wear comfortable shoes.
