Welcome to Medfield's combined PTO K-5 Room Parent volunteer form for the 2022-2023 school year. This form is used for Room Parent sign-up only. Please refer to your school's PTO website for other volunteer opportunities.

We are recruiting two Room Parents per class to serve as primary points of contact for teachers and the PTO. Room Parents will be essential in helping communicate information to parents, regarding PTO initiatives and teacher needs. Room Parents will also be responsible for coordinating all class parties and teacher gifts.

ALL ROOM PARENT VOLUNTEER FORMS MUST BE SUBMITTED BY FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 9, 2022.

YOU WILL BE NOTIFIED SHORTLY THERE AFTER IF YOU HAVE OR HAVE NOT BEEN SELECTED THROUGH THE ROOM PARENT VOLUNTEER LOTTERY PROCESS.

You may only be a Room Parent for one class per year. Room Parents are selected based on priority followed by a lottery in this order:

1. Room Parent Coordinator
2. First time Room Parent
3. Has been a Room Parent, but not for this child
4. Has been a Room Parent for this child
5. First choice selection takes priority over second choice selection
