Student Account Password Reset

This tutorial provides the steps required to update your Student Account Password. The Student Account Username and established Strong Password are used to access Canvas, Student Wireless, and ACS Computers.
Note: this password expires every 120 days, use this process to establish a new password.
Step 1) Go to www.edcc.edu/studentpass
Note: Universal SID log-in issues: students that have taken or are taking classes at a different institution that uses Canvas must establish and use a valid strong password for their EdmondsCC Canvas account. If a students EdmondsCC Canvas states HOME or no courses show in the Canvas account drop down menu, the password must be reset.
Go to www.edcc.edu/studentpass to establish a strong password for EdmondsCC Canvas.
Step 2) Enter your Student Identification Number (SID).
Note: Please do not include dashes “-,” see example.
Step 3) Enter your PIN
The PIN is a 6 digit number
Note: The default PIN is your date of birth (MMDDYY), however, you have the option of changing this on the EdmondsCC Student Information Page.
Warning: Please keep your PIN safe.
Contact Enrollment Services with any PIN issues.
Step 4) Click Login
In the next step you'll be required to create a strong password.
99Bunnies - 3 things are required
Pa$$w0rd - 4 things are even better
supercool55 - will not work only 2 things.
johnnyB12 - will not work name included.
Please keep your Password safe.
A strong password is:
Your Student Identification Number (SID) and first name should be displayed on the screen
Step 5) Type your new strong password in both the New Password and Re-enter Password text boxes provided
If your password is successful, you will see the following screen.
Step 7) Click the Done button to go to eLearning page and log in with your new password
Use the Accessing Canvas tutorial to login to Canvas, by entering your SID for the Username and your new Password.
