As you read through the scholarships listed below, you will notice that several are identified as C & E scholarships. The Citizenship and Education Foundation of the Edison Local Schools is a non-profit corporation established in 1988. The foundation is governed by a board of trustees from the community. The purpose of the foundation is to enrich and enhance educational opportunities by: creating opportunities for special and advanced study, endow programs in support of the curriculum, help sustain this community’s tradition of excellence of learning, and offer scholarship aid. The C & E Foundation facilitates young people through four initiatives: 1) a scholarship program that helps students pay tuition to colleges, universities, and technical schools; 2) a grant program which supports teacher and student initiated projects and programs; 3) an endowment fund which facilitates educational programs and community projects; and 4) a special support fund which enables students to participate in special camps and exchange program.
