The purpose of the HR Professional Development Series is to raise awareness of current HR trends & global issues that are pertinent to the ongoing and continuing development of knowledge and/or skills of an HR Practitioner. The presenters of these topics are subject matter experts external to Maricopa who monitor and stay on top of any changes to regulations and/or pending legislation, and also emerging and leading trends in the field of HR and talent management.
Participants will have the opportunity to network with HR Practitioners from across the Maricopa Community Colleges, as well those from employers within our community. Although the focus of the main presentation is not Maricopa process specific, there will be an optional facilitated dialogue at the end of the workshop to discuss what we learned and how it applies to our respective roles as an HR Practitioner.
