Homecoming Ambassador Application 2012

The Davenport University Homecoming Ambassador is a role model for the entire University. Candidates for this position should exhibit qualities such as leadership, character, good citizenship, community service involvement and communication skills. The Panther Ambassadors are student representatives of Davenport University. To Qualify a Student: - Must be enrolled as a full time student for the 2012-2013 academic year - Must be a student of junior status or above at Davenport University - Must have a cumulative GPA of 2.75 or above - Must not be on any disciplinary or academic probation Process timeline: October 31st: Completed applications must be submitted by 5:00 pm. (Please note: ALL application materials are due on this date, including faculty/staff recommendations. See below for more information.) November 2nd: Students selected to advance in the selection process will be contacted. November 8th: Ambassador Interviews will be conducted on this day by phone. All applicants must be available for a half hour interview. November 9th: Finalists will be notified by phone. November 12th-16th: Students vote for Panther Ambassadors online! November 17th: Panther Ambassadors announced at Homecoming Basketball games!

Please list a Davenport University staff or faculty member who will act as your reference. We will send them a recommendation form following the completion of your application. Please contact your references in advance so they are aware that they will be receiving a recommendation form.
