Dr. Jennifer Bloom Workshop - Monday, August 12, 2013 from 9:00am - 12:00pm
Location: Wick Dining Room
As we know from our conversations with Daemen students in and outside the classroom, all employees play an important role in creating a Daemen community for students and fostering student success. With our campus wide effort to increase student retention and success rates, we invite all members of the Daemen community to attend an interactive workshop scheduled with student success expert Dr. Jennifer L. Bloom. In this interactive workshop, Dr. Bloom will engage members of the Daemen community in learning more about appreciative advising, the intentional collaborative practice of asking positive, open-ended questions that help students optimize their educational experiences and achieve their dreams, goals, and potential. Coffee and light refreshments will be served.
