 What is NHS?  
National Honor Society is a nationwide organization that seeks to create enthusiasm for scholarship, to demonstrate a desire to render service, to promote leadership, and to develop character in the students of secondary schools.  Qualifying for membership is yearly and students must have a minimum 3.0 GPA in the most difficult curriculum as well as demonstrated community service.

NHS Qualification #1 - GPA *
You must have at least a 3.00 total GPA and C's or better.
NHS Qualification #2a - Community Service - type in the name of the organization *
You must have Community Service to qualify for NHS

NHS is recoginition only, we do not meet regularly.  You will receive occassional emails inviting you to a college tour or a school event.  You will be honored at the CWCS High School Graduation Ceremony with an NHS Certificate and a blue cord  if you participate in the ceremony. *
