The Junior League of Kane & DuPage Counties, Inc. will award a minimum of one $1,000 grant through the Grant for Innovative Teaching program.  The grant will be awarded to a teacher or teaching group employed full or part time at any public or private school serving students ages 0-5 years old, and the school or program serves 20 percent or more of children from a “low-income family/household*” within DuPage, Kane, Kendall, or Will Counties, Illinois who present outstanding student programming.

Grants may not be used to fund food and refreshments.

Applications must be received by January 15, 2016.

3.  If I am awarded a grant, the money granted will be spent to support only the project listed below.  Any money not utilitzed for this grant will be returned to the Junior League of Kane & DuPage Counties, Inc. *

4.  A record of all expenditures, together with copies of legible receipts, will be maintained and submitted timely to the Junior league of Kane & DuPage Counties, Inc. on the appropriate forms. *

5.  Any equipment purchased with grant money is the property of the school district and the school in which I am teaching at the time I receive the grant. *
