Who can be nominated?
Any academic librarian currently engaged in information literacy instruction.

Who can do the nominating?
Any colleague who can speak to the nominee’s enthusiasm, creativity, and dedication. Self nominations are also encouraged!

There will be four librarians featured throughout the year. Representatives from the ACRL Instruction Section Teaching Methods Committee will review nominations on a rolling basis. Nominations will be considered for one academic year.

The committee considers nominees based on the following criteria: clear example(s) of effective teaching strategies, clear example(s) of innovative teaching strategies, evidence of enthusiasm and dedication, example(s) of student learning, and discussion of the desire to improve instruction or other teaching practices.
