Purpose of Program: To educate students about the needs of the poor and underserved and challenge them to lay down their lives for the Gospel and serve these communities through health care.
Description of Program: Students will spend anywhere from 1 week to 3 months with providers and staff of Christ Community Health. This will include shadowing, building patient interview and exam skills, including exposure to disease diagnosis and treatment. Students will see holistic medicine in practice addressing medical, emotional, and spiritual needs of individuals. Students will be exposed to work in the community through other community ministries serving the poor in the non-medical setting.
Do you live out of town? We offer a guest house for students to stay in while they complete their rotation at our clinic.
