Los Angeles Urban Teacher Residency (LAUTR), under co-leadership of Cal State University Los Angeles (CSULA) Charter College of Education and Center for Collaborative Education (CCE), is an intensive teacher-residency program within a social justice framework. LAUTR is a dual credential and graduate degree program offering two credential pathways in Single Subject Math or Science and Special Education (Mild/Moderate Disabilities) with a STEM Specialization, along with a master’s degree in Integrated STEM Education. LAUTR places Residents in the classroom for a full year with a secondary Mentor Teacher in math, or science, or special education.

LAUTR Mentor Teachers work closely with CSULA faculty and CCE staff to guide, supervise, and instruct Residents. They engage in rigorous daily collaboration with their assigned Resident in a full-time placement for the school year. Current stipend for Mentors: $4,000.
