Chimera Council derives its name from the chimera, a fire breathing mythological creature with the head of a lion, body of a goat, and tail of a serpent, the official mascot of the college. Chimera Council is a hybrid program program of Orientation leaders and Student Council leaders bringing together a diverse interdisciplinary group of mature and dedicated undergraduate students.
Chimera Council is defined by the acronym BAM, where Chimera Leaders are (B)uilding Community, (A)dvocating for the undergraduate class by serving on various committees, and serving as (M)entors during new student orientation, as well as during the school year in planning events and activities that promote spirit and involvement on and around campus.
We are looking for new members of Chimera Council, who are interested in getting involved and making a difference for new and current students. If you are interested, please fill out the online form.
