Parent Helpers 2017
There are lots of ways parents/caregivers assist the school in the classroom and around the school. This is very much appreciated.

To help in the classroom please talk to your classroom teacher(s).

If you are able to help in other ways we can offer some exciting CV opportunities, including
- OFFICE FAIRIES: helping with little jobs around the office after drop off or before pick up (or any time that suits you)  Proper coffee supplied!
- ROAD PATROL on call supervisor - for the few times when the parent supervisor is unavailable either am or pm
- LIBRARY HELPERS: Helping our lovely librarians with returns and shelving
- PARENTS as READING TUTORS; Half an hour 9am and 2.30pm reading with students to up their reading mileage. Our SENCO will guide you.
- WILLING BAKERS: providing a plate biscuits, slices or finger food for school events eg: pöwhiri, Year 6 leavers.  Once or twice a term.
- HOME and SCHOOL: This is a fabulous group of parents who arrange social events for the children and help fundraise for the school. You can be on the committee, fair worker or just a willing helper
- HOME & SCHOOL Classroom Representative. This is a liaison position between the Home and School and parents in your child's classroom. It is not necessary to be on the Home and School committee. A great way to get to know the parent's and can include class social activities (eg coffee morning)

With thanks
