SCA Committee Event Approval
The SCA event approval process applies to all SCA events.

Once an SCA Committee has decided to organise an event (or agreed for an event to be organised on its behalf by an affiliated club ) the SCA Committee will complete the form below. If there are multiple events the committee can alternatively complete the bulk spreadsheet and send it to events@canoescotland.org

What happens next?
Once all the above information is received, the event will be a Conditionally Approved SCA Event and will be added to the SCA database and allocated an event number. A confirmation email will be sent to the organiser and the event will appear on the central SCA calendar at http://canoescotland.org/events/events-listing and http://canoescotland.org/events/events-calendar as well as the Facebook page (if requested).

The final approval of each SCA event is subject to the Event Risk Assessment and Event Safety Management Plan being received by the SCA office at least 2 months prior to the event.
