Please tell us why you want to be a volunteer in training for the Experience Camps? What are you going to do with the skills you develop from the experience? How do you picture yourself using the skills you develop during the VIT program?
Being a VIT is different than being a Manitou CIT or JC as VITs have different responsibilities and are representing Camp Manitou at a unique and special camp. If you were going to prove that you were a responsible person, what things could you tell us that would show this? What have you done in your life or are doing now that you believe shows that you are a responsible person?
As a VIT, you will teach an instructional.  Please tell us two or three instructional areas where you feel you are qualified to teach.  For each area you list, please explain a few skills you think you can teach a typical Manitou camper.
If you are not sure what skills you can teach, you can explain how you work during the regular Manitou summer to learn the skills to teach to the Experience campers.
