Please complete the following form to notify the Elementary Section of an absence according to the CAG attendance policy.
This form must be completed at least 5 days prior to the absence in order for students to be able to make-up missed work.Students regular attendance and participation is a shared responsibility between the home and the school. Families must assume responsibility to avoid excessive absences and must communicate with the school in a timely manner when absences are anticipated.

1. Absences from school may affect my child's education negatively and I take responsibility for the academic achievement of my child as a result of accumulated absences. 2. It is my responsibility to inform the Section Principal at least 5 school days prior to the date of my child's absence. Make-up work will only be provided with the proper notice. 3. The school does not distinguish between "excused" and "unexcused" absences. 4. My child is responsible for all make-up work according to the timeline established by the teacher. 5. Absences beyond 10% of the total number of school days will/may affect re-enrollment. 6. Absences beyond 20% of the total number of school days allowed by the Guatemalan Ministry of Education forfeits to be promoted to take the final assessment at the end of the year. 7.
