Web, Chrome, & G Suite Resources for Education - MathColor Triangle .png

We hope that everyone approaches these resources with the mindset that a digital tool is only valuable if it enhances the student learning experience. We always recommend that you know your why before focusing on the how or the what. The best digital resources engage students in the 4 Cs of collaboration, creativity, communication, and critical thinking as they explore content objectives. The ISTE Standards can be another great resource for building a mindset that connects content to essential digital skills.

Document Objective: The goal connected to the creation of this document is to help teachers and students explore digital resources that can enhance teaching and learning in Math Classrooms. This collection of Web Resources, Chrome OS Web Apps, Chrome Extensions, Google Drive Add-ons, and Drive Apps have been explored and recommended by our PLN to enhance engagement and inspire curiosity in K-12 Math Classrooms. While some of the resources do have paid plans, we primarily try to focus on free digital resources in this collection.

Navigation: We’ve organized the resources in different categories recommended by Math teachers. To view the Categories. click on ‘View’ in the menu above to turn on the ‘Document Outline’ on the left. The outline categories are linked to each section of the document.

Additional Web Resources and Digital Tools for all learners can be found by exploring the Wicked EdTech Site and the Know Your Why Blog. The Google Chrome Webstore also supports keyword searches for Chrome Apps and Extensions connected to education. The Common Sense Media EdTech Reviews & Resources Page is another recommended resource to explore digital resources for teaching and learning.
