ABOUT THE EVENT
Now in its eleventh year, the Open Air Street Fair is our daylong block party and shopping bazaar taking place along Crosby Street, between Houston and Prince. Featuring thousands of donated books, records, and CDs for $1 each, live music courtesy of Two Boots’ Americana Jamboree, a kids’ story time and singalong, the Van Leeuwen Artisan Ice Cream truck, food specials from our Bookstore Cafe and unique finds from our Soho Thrift Shop – this event is a can’t miss – all to support a great cause! All profits from the Open Air Street Fair pay for Housing Works’ services for homeless and low-income New Yorkers living with HIV and AIDS.
