Successful organisations often exhibit work environments that appear to facilitate creative behaviors by highly engaged employees.

It was the objective of research undertaken by Tracy to identify and understand the unique and overlapping characteristics that promoted creative behavior and employee engagement in teams. The scope of the investigation covered work design, social environment of the team, manager behavior, team processes and the physical environment. Additionally, the influence of organizational culture on peoples attitudes and behavior was also considered.
